Many People are confused with the Character of Gabriel, But he is actually a small but significant character. Gabriel represents an allusion of an angel that is there to explain the recent events to Maria and why they happened.

    The character of Gabriel added a symbolic picture to the story that isn't super noticeable until you further analyze the story.
